JLG 33RTS rough terrain scissor lift (man lift), 4WD, for sale BC,AB,SK for around $13,000 is what I`m looking for in BC, AB or SK Canada. Anyone see one anywhere?

Performing maintenance on scissor lifts is not complicated. All aerial work platforms, including rough terrain scissor lifts, follow a basic structural anatomy. There’s the passenger platform or basket, the lifting system (in the case of rough terrain scissor lifts, this will obviously be scissor-shaped) and the mount (often a vehicle of some kind).

Rough terrain scissor lifts are usually utilized in inhospitable areas, and it’s therefore advised to check the basket first. Confirm that the bearings are well-secured and the access gate’s locking mechanism works as it should. If tools are to be brought on to the platform, it is sometimes advised that every tool is fastened to the basket somehow, although this is not legally required. Rough terrain scissor lifts also contain sensors of varying uses: there’s one that stops the lift from exceeding a certain height, and one that warns for the possibility of unequal weight distribution in the basket, so as not to tip over.

Some rough terrain scissor lifts are also equipped with a sensor that stops the machine from lifting at all if the basket is burdened with a workload that exceeds its particular prescribed weight. Checking these sensors is a must for any scissor lift that is to be equipped in rough terrain. Lastly, the stability of the vehicular mount (if any) should be checked.
