Handling Specialty custom built an oversized triple-stage scissor lift table (stage lift) for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics Opening Ceremony. This scissor lift table was used to “magically” raise Gladys Knight from underneath the stage. The lift table raises to a height of 144″, the hydraulically-actuated lift table then emerged from a retractable hatch in the stadium floor at an impressive speed of 17.96 seconds. Used scissor lift or boom lift in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Anyone know where I can find lift like these in GA? Even a company that will ship boom lifts and scissor lifts to GA will do.
