Aerial lifts is also used by electricians to repair telephone lines on poles, in raising heavy items to high shelves, paint trim on two-storey homes or large buildings. Despite using a ladder to perform these jobs, using aerial lifts provide you with more stable and safe working setting. In the area where mechanical devices aid workers be elevated to higher places, aerial lift is the proper term to be used but it is also called as man lifts, Mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs), bucket trucks and cherry pickers.

There are various types of aerial lifts that you can choose from that depends upon what you need and, of course, the purpose of each type of aerial lift. That include:

• Gondola lift, are those open chairs or gondolas attached and are hauled using a loop of cable. The cables or steel cables are attached between two stations. Often, people call it cable cars.
